HARVEST LAB TECHNICIAN - TEMPORARY
Prosser, WA
Our winery client in Prosser, WA has an immediate need for a temporary Harvest Lab Technician. The position will last 2 to 3 months and will require some laboratory experience. The ideal candidate can work weekends and be very flexible in terms of hours. Duties include but are not limited to performing wet chemistry analysis on wine, juice, and grape samples according to approved standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
AA degree in science/technical discipline, i.e, chemistry, biochemistry, agricultural science or four semesters of college level coursework in the above disciplines; basic math; able to operate basic lab instruments and equipment; able to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting. Able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in one place for long periods of time, and work extended hours and/or shift work during the harvest peak season.
